On Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021, Villa St. Benedict, a continuum care Senior Living community in Lisle, was a participant in National Night Out. A fun summer event for all residents to celebrate, come together, and enjoy an evening on VSB's great lawn. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Volunteers and staff served beer, wine, and sundaes while the live performance of the Lonesome Eagle Band played on the west lawn. The local Lisle/Woodridge Fire Department and Paramedics stopped by for a visit to socialize with our Independent and Assisted Living Community in addition to meeting our new Executive Director, Nicole Rich, and our Prioress Sister Mary. Residents listened and sang along to Folk and Irish-inspired tunes as yard games commenced and our Oberweis build-your-own Sundae Bar was set up with a variety of toppings from cherries, caramel to hot fudge.
The best way to build a community is to know your neighbors and your surroundings, National Night Out does just this and it is celebrated by millions of neighbors across thousands of communities. We had over 90 residents attend this event! Special thanks to the Lisle/Woodridge Fire Department who brought over some safety kits with masks and hand sanitizer.
It takes a Villa(age)"... the VSB Team and the community represent this and more! For more information about this active senior community, call their enthusiastic sales team at 630-852-0345, or write to them at info@villastben.org.
