In Memoriam

A gift in memoriam is a lasting gift that will honor the memory of a loved one. We send a tribute report to the family listing the names of each friend who remembered their family member with a donation. It's a loving and valuable way to share in the memories.

Harold (Bud) Therens

Harold (Bud) Therens

Harold (Bud) Therens, a resident of the Villa Center, our independent living community, passed away on October 30, 2019. Although only here at Villa St. Benedict for a short while, Bud made many friends and acquaintances and enjoyed living a full life.
Bud was remembered in a service held in our chapel on Monday, November, 4, 2019.

Bud’s family has designated that memorials in his memory be directed to Villa St. Benedict. We will supply Bud’s family of a complete list of all that contribute in his name.

John Reilly

John Reilly

John Reilly, a devoted resident and friend of many, at Villa St. Benedict’s Assisted Living Community, Benedale Center, passed on June 28, 2019. John enjoyed many things in his life but what he most enjoyed was people. He was friendly, kind, and had a great sense of humor. Mr. Reilly loved to make people laugh or simply smile. He was fond of wearing hats and was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs. He will be missed tremendously but knowing he is at peace with his wife and other family members is comforting.

If you chose to make a donation in John's name to the Villa St. Benedict Foundation, his family will be provided with a complete list of donors.
