TYPE: Part time. Non-Exempt
Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A valid Illinois drivers license will be needed at times. It would be helpful if someone has at least one year working with people in a senior living community or in a customer related position. CPR/AED certified or willing to be trained/certified. Must be willing to complete 4 hours of required training prior to receiving an assignment.
Provide non-clinical services for the personal needs and comfort of residents/clients. Maintain records as needed. Services may include shopping, escort services to appointments, activities, meals. May also assist with home tasks such as laundry, organizing closets, etc.
DEPARTMENT: Resident Care
SHIFT: 5 days a week, including every other weekend 6am to 2pm
TYPE: Full Time – 40 hours. Non-Exempt
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be on the Illinois Registry for Nursing Assistants. One year's previous experience as a nurse aide, working with dementia care would be helpful. Current CPR/AED & First Aid certification (or accomplished within 90 days of hire). Ability to perform tasks as assigned and handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Ability to substitute other shifts as a PRN.
Provides basic nursing and related nonprofessional services for the personal needs and comfort of residents. Maintain resident records; provide escort services to activities, meals, etc. Assist with laundry services and bed making.
DEPARTMENT: Culinary Services
SHIFT: 11:00am to 7:30pm, varying days during the week, plus some weekends
TYPE: Full Time. Non-Exempt
High School diploma and training in culinary arts. Minimum of two years experience or a combination of education and/or experience in cooking and food service work. Needs to have a working knowledge of food services routines.
Prepares all cold and hot food items including accompaniments and garnishes following preparation sheets and provided recipes. Completes food temperature checks at each meal. Completes preparation records and stores food items properly at the close of meal service. Responsible for cleanliness, sanitation and organization of kitchen including storage and cooler areas. Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices.
