Housekeeper

DEPARTMENT: Environmental Services

SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

TYPE: Full Time, 40 hours a week. Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of previous experience in housekeeping preferred. Able to read, write and speak English. Individual must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical requirements of the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs project and general cleaning of resident apartments/villas and assists with cleaning of public/non-public areas. May assist residents in IL with laundering of linens. Provides coverage for others staff in the area as needed.

CNA

DEPARTMENT: Resident Care

SHIFT: 10:00pm - 6:00am, 4 shifts/week including every other weekend

TYPE: Full time. Non-Exempt.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be on the Illinois Registry for Nursing Assistants. One year's previous experience as a nurse aide, preferably working with dementia care. CPR/AED & First Aid certified (or accomplished within 90 days of hire). Ability to perform tasks as assigned and handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Ability to substitute other shifts as a PRN.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides basic nursing and related nonprofessional services for the personal needs and comfort of residents. Maintain resident records; provide escort services to activities, meals, etc. Assist with laundry services and bed making if requested.

Resident Companion – At Your Service

SHIFT: Varies / 7 Days per week

TYPE: Part Time. Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS
Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A valid Illinois drivers license will be needed at times. It would be helpful if someone has at least one year working with people in a senior living community or in a customer related position. CPR/AED certified or willing to be trained/certified. Must be willing to complete 4 hours of required training prior to receiving an assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide non-clinical services for the personal needs and comfort of residents/clients. Maintain records as needed. Services may include shopping, escort services to appointments, activities, meals. May also assist with home tasks such as laundry, organizing closets, etc.
