Memory-Care-Assisted-Living

Dignified, caring help from experts.

A specialized unit called Abbey Lane was created as a natural extension of our assisted living services to care for residents living with mild to moderate cognitive impairments. This Benedale program evolved through a special partnership with Rush University Alzheimer’s Disease Center, one of the leading institutions in progressive research and education. Rush provides ongoing training for all Abbey Lane staff members. Residents in this secure neighborhood, engage in a variety of safe and creative activities specifically designed to enhance their self-esteem, minimize feelings of isolation, increase cognitive stimulation and create a sense of home.

Our goal is to nurture the total well-being of each resident. Staff in Abbey Lane go on to develop close ties with family members and these relationships help to establish personalized care plans for those residents.
