 Nestled within 47.5 acres on the grounds of the Sacred Heart Monastery, Villa St.Benedict offers a charming, small-town atmosphere along with one of the most complete Continuing Care packages ever planned including: - numerous inviting floor plans; - activity programs, facilities and amenities for comfort and enjoyment; - integrated healthcare services. Residents of Villa St. Benedict are no longer burdened with tedious tasks. Instead, they can invest their time to launch new interests, travel, and enjoy family and friends. A Mission-Based Community Opened in the autumn of 2005, Villa St. Benedict experiences high occupancy and limited availability. Cosponsored by two faith-based organizations, Villa St. Benedict’s strong foundation is the result of the commitment of the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart and the Benedictine Health System. Together, the two organizations, led by their individual missions, direct the operations of Villa St. Benedict. Opened in the autumn of 2005, Villa St. Benedict experiences high-occupancy rates and limited availability. The Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart Founded in 1895, the Benedictine Sisters have a tradition of serving the local community through educating children, helping the homeless and caring for seniors. Caring for seniors is now the corporate commitment of the Sisters, who founded and also minister in the Benedale Center for Assisted Living, part of Villa St. Benedict. The Sisters see Villa St. Benedict as an extension of their mission of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice.  The Benedictine Health System Benedictine Health System (BHS) is a Catholic-sponsored healthcare delivery system sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of Duluth, Minnesota. Through their sponsorship of Villa St. Benedict, BHS strives to provide a quality living environment where area seniors can achieve or maintain meaning and fulfillment in their lives. BHS owns and/or manages 68 healthcare facilities in 9 states.  |
